What's the matter with Maureen Dowd? Does she want four more years of George Bush? The headline on her column The Doctor is Out infuriated me. Its a possibility that she didn't write the headline. I hope not.

The Economist
I saw the cover of the latest "Economist" yesterday and it had two simulated campaign buttons on it. One had a picture of Bush with the caption"
George W. Bush 43rd President of the United States. The other had a Picture of Howard Dean and was captioned "Howard Dean 44th President of the United States? Hopefully this is prophetic!

Al Sharpton is a clown
At last nights debate, Al Sharpton proved that he is a race baiting demogouge by attacking Howard Dean for not having any blacks or latinos in his cabinet during his tenure as governor of Vermont. Howard Dean is above reproach on this issue. Vermont is a lily white state and there just aren't that many blacks or latinos there.
Al Sharpton does nothing but try to crosscut the coalition by accusing Dean of being a racist. Shut up Al!

Lieberman Attacks Dean
Joe Lieberman should drop out of the race and join the Republican Party! His whining, sullen attacks on Howard Dean do nothing but undermine the Democrat's only chance to win back the White House. Joe Lieberman has a better chance to win the Republican nomination than the Democratic. Had Al Gore not chosen him as a running mate, he would probably be in the White House now. Shut up Joe! Go back to Connecticut where George W. was born.
Yes, little Georgie is no Texan. He was born in New Haven, attended Andover and Yale. His accent and cowboy image are all a con. Look it up. The Bushes are phony carpetbaggers who pulled the wool over many an eye. If we don't elect Howard Dean, America-or what's left of it- will never recover! And Joe Lieberman is trying his best to ruin Howard Dean's chances.

After hearing the "Freak Show" ad about the "Sushi Eaters" and the "Volvo Drivers", I have this response.

Okie, Chicken Fried Steak Munching, Cream Gravy Slurping, Fox News Watching, Trailor Dwelling, Ignorant, Inbred, Toby Keith Listening, Suburban Driving, Uniformed, poorly educated,Cow-eyed, White Trash, bunch of rubes back to Texas!
So many rural working poor whites in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado and the South have a bad case of cognitive dissonance. The Bush administration's policies do nothing to benefit them yet they are bamboozled into supporting him by the clever propaganda of Roger Ailes.
The regressive tax-cut does nothing but harm the working poor. Unfunded mandates have harmed public schools. Sales tax and health insurance have skyrocked due to the lack of federal revenue because of the cuttting of of programs. Howard Dean will roll back the tax cut and restore local control to schools. Wake up! Bush does nothing for you unless you are wealthy or a multinational corperation.
